The Border Crisis Is Not Under Control
A hard look at the border crisis and the lies told about it. The Trump administration enforces real security while past Democrat policies left America vulnerable to drugs, crime, and chaos.

The American people see what’s happening. They feel it in their neighborhoods. They know the border is not under control no matter how many times Democrat politicians and their media allies pretend otherwise.
The Biden administration insisted everything was fine. They tried to convince us the flood of illegal crossings and drugs had no bearing on our safety. They claimed crime was not tied to open borders.
That was false.
Donald Trump warned us about this years ago. He speaks plainly about the dangers. He builds policy rooted in security. He acts like a leader. That is what accountability looks like in real time.
Democrats Say the Border Is Secure but We See the Truth
Under the Biden years, the narrative pushed was that the crisis was exaggerated. Mayorkas and other officials insisted the border was manageable. But the data told a different story: from 2021 to 2024, more than 7.2 million migrants were encountered at the southern border. Wikipedia+1
Now under the Trump administration, the shift is dramatic. In August 2025, nationwide border encounters were 26,197, which is 93 % below the peak monthly encounters under Biden (which reached roughly 370,883). U.S. Customs and Border Protection Along the southwest border that month, just 6,319 apprehensions, 96 % lower than Biden’s daily averages. U.S. Customs and Border Protection
CBP also reports that in May 2025, the U.S. Border Patrol encountered 8,725 illegal aliens between ports of entry—a drop from 117,905 in May 2024, a 93 % decrease. U.S. Customs and Border Protection In fact, for four full months, the Trump administration logged zero releases of illegal aliens into the country (compared to tens of thousands under Biden). The lie that the border is safe cannot stand when the numbers collapse under it.
The Numbers Tell a Different Story
Trump enforces the Remain in Mexico policy. Asylum seekers must wait outside U.S. territory until their claims are processed. It deters fraud, reduces backlogs, and limits mass releases.
Under the prior Democratic years, the scale was enormous. In 2023, fentanyl and other synthetic opioids were involved in about 60 % of all overdose deaths, roughly 48,000 fatalities. Government Accountability Office Over the span of fiscal years 2021–2024, law enforcement captured over 130,000 pounds of illicit fentanyl, plus 327,000 pounds of precursor chemicals. In August 2025, CBP seized about 760 pounds of fentanyl at the border. USAFacts
Those numbers reflect a clear benefit: intercepting dangerous drugs before they poison American lives.
Families Communities and Children Pay the Price
This is not abstract policy. It’s lives. Families are shattered by opioids. Communities reel under gang violence, cartel power, and foreign crime networks. Children are vulnerable to trafficking, exploitation, and worse.
A government that refuses to protect its own has violated its most basic duty. A nation claiming to value truth cannot stand silent when leaders deny danger. Trump understands that protecting families comes first. Biden abandoned that duty.
Crime Grows When Leaders Ignore Their Duty
Cartels grow bolder. Border towns live with daily threat. Local law enforcement is overwhelmed. Cities far from the border feel the infiltration of crime.
Democrats argued crime was separate from immigration. That narrative failed. When you open the border, you open the door to organized crime. Trump sees it. Trump strikes at it. Biden looked away.
A nation that cannot defend its frontier cannot defend its people.
Why Trump Is Right About the Wall and Security
The wall is mocked as a “symbol.” In reality, it’s a tactical barrier. In places where the wall exists, illegal crossings drop dramatically. Cartels lose easy entrances. Law enforcement regains control. That’s not spin. That’s pattern.
The Remain in Mexico policy works. Border Patrol is empowered. ICE is freed to do its job. America becomes safer because leadership believes in order.
Biden halted wall construction. He dismantled Remain in Mexico. He handcuffed ICE. Then he blamed Republicans when chaos surged. That was not leadership. That was neglect.
America’s Duty to Truth and Safety
The danger doesn’t stay at the border. It ripples into every state, every town. What happens in Texas finds its way into schools in Virginia, into neighborhoods everywhere.
The Trump administration goes after this crisis with clarity and force. The contrast is stark: one side leads. The other lies.
Missed families, shattered communities, countless lives hang in the balance.
